Doodling is relaxing, creative, and a surprisingly powerful way to build design confidence. You’ll learn a variety of doodling techniques using gel pens directly on fabric. Together we’ll build a bold feather design one plume at a time, exploring simple motifs, layering, spacing, and creative variation as we go. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about loosening up your creative brain and learning to see how designs come together. By the end, you’ll have a finished inked feather that can be framed, quilted, appliquéd, or incorporated into another project. More importantly, you’ll walk away with new ideas and the confidence to start filling fabric without overthinking it. No prior experience required. If you can hold a pen, you can doodle. And once you start, it’s hard to stop.
